02 Three ways to participate

Three relationships.
One organization.

Refer, build, or work on someone else's. They're independent: pick one or pick all three. Two of them earn rev share, the third grants operational access. The same organization can wear every hat.

Referral

Send a store in. Step away.

Share your referral link. Anyone who signs up through it within sixty days is attributed to you. Every charge they pay us, across every store they run, present and future, accrues rev share to your balance.

Agency

Build the store. Hand it off.

Stand a property up inside your organization, configure it, then send a handoff invite. The store moves to a fresh merchant organization with you attributed. Same lifetime rev share as a referral, plus you keep collaborator access if you want it.

Collaborator

Work on someone else's store.

A merchant grants your organization access to one of their stores. You can configure, merchandise, and read intelligence as if it were yours. You're not on the invoice. Useful for consultancies, freelancers, in-house ops, and anyone working under retainer.

What you do: the work, on their store.

Referral and Agency earn the same lifetime rev share at the same rate. Collaborator is the access lane: a merchant can revoke your access to their store without ending an attribution, and vice versa. The two concepts never collide.

03 How rev share works

Charge to payout,
in four moves.

Every cleared merchant charge accrues rev share to your balance at a rate snapshotted when the attribution was created. A thirty-day grace window covers refunds and chargebacks. After that, the balance is eligible for an admin-initiated payout through Stripe Connect.

    Charge lands

    The merchant pays an invoice or a Shopify charge. We accrue rev share to your balance at the rate set when the attribution was created. The rate is snapshotted, so later edits to our default don't reach into existing entries.

  2. 02

    Thirty-day grace

    The entry sits in a grace window for thirty days. If the merchant refunds the order or a chargeback hits, the entry reverses cleanly with no Stripe transfer involved. This is what keeps your balance honest without us having to claw money back later.

  3. 03

    Eligible for payout

    After the grace window, the entry is eligible. It shows up on your Partner Program page under Payouts. We batch eligible entries per partner and per currency for transfer.

  4. 04

    Stripe Connect transfer

    Payouts run through Stripe Connect to your bank. You complete onboarding once: identity, bank routing, tax form. From there, we batch eligible balances and run payouts on a regular cadence. Onboarding is offered the moment you accept the partner terms, even before your first attributed merchant signs up.

Short version, then the long one.

The full contract lives in the Partner Program Terms. Here's what to know going in.

Rate

Snapshotted at attribution. The rate in effect when an attribution is created stays on that attribution, regardless of changes to our default afterward.

Attribution

First-touch, sixty days, per browser. The first referral token a visitor sees wins. One active attribution per merchant organization at a time.

Currency

Payouts are USD at this revision. Additional currencies arrive as our merchant billing supports them.

Payout cadence

We batch eligible balances and run payouts on a regular cadence. A per-currency minimum applies before a transfer fires.

If the terms change

A new material version freezes new entries to your balance as held-pending-acceptance until you re-accept. Re-acceptance releases them in one sweep. Nothing already paid is touched.

Refunds and chargebacks

Inside the grace window, the entry reverses with no transfer. After payout, the reversal nets against your next eligible balance.

05 Get started

Two steps to a referral link.

Sign in. Open your organization's Partner Program page. Accept the terms, and your referral link is live. Stripe Connect onboarding is the next button under it; finish that and you're ready to receive payouts.
